FAQ

What is low-bay lighting?

Low-bay lights are often defined as lights used on ceilings under 20 feet from the floor. Low ceilings are the most common type of ceiling in homes, most retail businesses, and public buildings.

How far apart should high bay lights be?

At 20 feet high, you can use a spacing of 15 feet to produce bright light, or if you need normal light, you should use an 18-foot spacing. At 30 feet high, you can leave a 20-foot spacing between lights for brighter light. However, for normal light, you can choose a spacing of 25 feet.

What is the difference between high bay lights and low bay lights?

Low-bay lighting fixtures include reflectors or lenses to transmit light and reduce glare. High bay lights require special reflectors made of aluminum to allow light to flow down to the floor or prism assembly to diffuse the light and illuminate shelves and other elevated objects.
