FAQ

What is a wireless floodlight?

Safety lights are simply floodlights with motion sensors that turn on when motion is detected and turn off again when no motion is detected for a set period of time, usually between 10 and 30 seconds.

How do sensor floodlights work?

Motion detectors are small electronic eyes that detect infrared waves, i.e. heat waves radiated from moving objects. When the detector senses an object moving in its field of vision — especially hotter objects such as people, animals, and cars — it electronically turns on the lights.

Are flood lights good for safety?

When protecting a residential property, it is generally recommended that homeowners have at least one motion-sensitive floodlight. This will serve as your safe lighting from dusk to dawn. Combinations of different types of floodlights can be used to provide high-intensity security lighting for your entire property.
