How to choose the high bay light？

Wattage and Lumens

Industrial and high bay led lights to have different wattages, but it is a lumen that you need to pay attention to. As LEDs become more efficient, they will use fewer wattages. You can easily choose one according to the height of the high bay lamps installed. Different heights have different wattages:

• 10-15 feet – This height is ideal for lamps from 10,000 to 15,000 lumens.

• 15-20 feet – This height is ideal for lamps from 16,000 to 20,000 lumens.

• 25-35 feet – For this height, a 33,000-lumen lamp is ideal.

spacing

The spacing between the lamps is also an important factor in the selection of industrial and mining lamps LED mining lamps. You can consider the three most common scenarios to find the best light for your space. These are listed below:

• At 15 feet high, a spacing of approximately 12 feet is essential for bright light. However, if you need normal light, you should leave 15 feet of space.

• At 20 feet high, you can use a spacing of 15 feet to produce bright light, or if you need normal light, you should use a spacing of 18 feet.

• At 30 feet high, you can leave a 20-foot spacing between lights for brighter light. However, for normal light, you can choose a spacing of 25 feet.

Lamp type

High bay lamps are available in a variety of shapes. We offer round lights (now known as UFO high bay lights) and longer large lights (called LED linear bay lights). Most people don't know that if hung a few feet high, the circular lights can disperse the lights very well. About 15 feet above, we always recommend a circle. They are easier to install. In areas with aisles, linear lights become ideal. At lower altitudes, you can opt for wide-angle linear mining lamps.
