LED Street Light
The city street lighting project in Colombia was finished in 2017. In this project, we used 2700 sets of ZGSM 40W H4 series LED Street lamps with the smart city and lighting management system. With 7 Pin NEMA sockets and smart lamp controllers, we connected the street lamps to the smart lighting control system, so that you could know the real-time state of each street lamp and control all the street lamps by APP on the mobile phone or website on the PC. The solution of LED street lamps with the smart city and lighting management system aims to promote intelligent cities and intelligent lighting to make cities smarter and more energy-efficient. The power consumption of the project area using this solution has saved energy by more than 60% every year.

| LED Street Light System Installation Process |
NEMA means National Electrical Manufacturers Association in the USA. NEMA connectors are power plugs and receptacles used for AC mains electricity in North America and other countries that use the standards set by the US National Electrical Manufacturers Association. The voltage ratings for NEMA wire devices range from 125 to 600 volts and the current values range from 15 to 60 amperes (A) (V). For each combination of voltage, electric current carrying capacity, and grounding system, different permutations of contact blade widths, shapes, orientations, and dimensions result in non-interchangeable connections.
Color temperature is a crucial component of color appearance that determines how "warm" (yellowish) or "cool" (bluish) white light looks on paper. A warm light is approximately 2,700 degrees Kelvin (K), neutral white is approximately 4,000 K, and cold white is approximately 5,000 K or greater. Correlated Color Temperature, or CCT, is specified in degrees Kelvin. When compared to the enormous efficiency benefits made by switching from conventional incandescent to LED lights, the energy efficiency variations between colder and warmer color temperatures are very insignificant.
What is LED street lighting, and how does it work? The term "light-emitting diode" refers to a device that emits light. The LED light source is both energy-efficient and eco-friendly. It is more adjustable than earlier types of street lighting since it can be lowered and concentrates light where it is needed with less light pollution.
