Gas station canopy lighting requirements

Under the canopy, a light level of 400 lux is sufficient on the ground. In addition to this, it is recommended that the air pump use a vertical illuminance of 150 lux. Gas station entrances and exits should have a light level of at least 10 lux. In the cross-zone between the canopy and the store, a light level of 150 lux is sufficient.

How far away should outdoor recessed lights be?

Typical spacing for ambient lighting with recessed lights is 6 to 7 1/2 feet for an 8-foot ceiling or 7 to 8 1/2 feet for a 9-foot ceiling. Spacing from the first row of lights to the wall is half this distance.
